Dr Sateesh Belemkar studied B Pharm (1994, Gulbarga University), M Pharm (1997, Karnatak University) and Ph.D (2010, NMIMS University) from reputed Institutions. He is having vast experience in teaching subjects of Anatomy & Physiology, Pathophysiology and Pharmacology & Toxicology to UG & PG. He is having expertise in handling Industrial toxicity projects and associated with pharmaceutical industries as consultant (project worth 75 lacs completed & a project worth 6.5 lacs is ongoing). He has conducted clinical study of antidiabetic formulations as a part of Ph D studies & registered with CTRI. He is a CPCSEA nominated member and actively involved in IAEC activities. Two students successfully completed Ph.D under his guidance and two more students studies are in progress. He has guided more than 45 PG students for their major projects and 30 students for minor projects. Two of his research observations are awarded with Australian Patent (2021). He presented papers at national and international conferences (36 numbers) and published research articles (63 numbers) in journals of repute. He presented research papers at APPS conference held in Los Angeles in 2009 & BIT’s conference held in Beijing China in 2012, received travel grants from DST & ICMR. He has received many awards and accolades for his research presentations.
