Dr. Shreekant Iyengar has been involved in teaching and research for the last sixteen years with thirteen years of full-time teaching experience. He holds a doctorate in economics and specializes in area of health economics. Dr. Iyengar was closely associated with the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad between 2005 and 2012 while working on national level of research projects in collaboration with Columbia University, USA. Dr. Iyengar has published papers in National level of journals and has participated in national and international conferences and seminars. His research interests involve health indicators performance, healthcare finance and public policy regarding healthcare provisioning. Dr. Iyengar has taught economics subjects to students of various disciplines including management, commerce, law, planning and architecture. Dr. Iyengar is a life member with the Indian Health Economics and Policy Association.
