He is Associate Professor of Finance at School of Business Management at SVKM’s NMIMS Deemed to be University at Indore Campus.

He took India on the top of the world by competing with over 650 applications across the Globe and winning the top class Teaching Excellence: Most Influential Lecturer 2022 (Global Champion) award announced by The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants® USA while China, UK and South Africa stood as runner-ups. He has been nominated in the ‘Task Force for Member in Academic’ for the year 2020-21 by Western India Regional Council of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
He was also Co-opted member in Editorial Board of Bulletin of Western India Regional Council of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India for the year 2012-13, 2013-14 & 2019-20.
He was unanimously elected as Chairman of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India – Indore Dewas Chapter for the year 2011-12 & 2012-13 during which received best chapter award.
He was invited by UGC-HRDC as resource person for teaching as well as coordination of short term skill development and refresher programs and IIM Raipur for guiding their PGP students on Application of Cost Accounting in Industry.
He has delivered more than 100 invited talks as resource person including expert sessions during Global Money Week under the aegis of "Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development - International Network on Financial Education (OECD/ INFE)” and the Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

He is an Empaneled Financial Education Resource Person and Securities Markets Trainer of Securities & Exchange Board of India and National Institute of Securities Markets.
He is a Fellow Member (with All India Rank) of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India
He is an Associate Member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India due for Fellowship.
He is member of Alumni Association of IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Indore.

Experience:

He has 22 years of academic experience during which he has led many programs as chairperson.
He has 5 years of professional experience as a practicing cost & management accountant. His areas of interest include statutory cost audit & compliances, management assurance audit & internal audit, cost management, management control systems, business strategy, personal financial planning, accounting and control where he successfully led more than 20 projects.

He is Ph.D. (First Rank in Coursework), FCMA (All India Rank Holder), ACS, M.Com.
He is UGC NET with 72.57% marks.
He is SAS Global Certificate Holder in Visual Analytics and Exploration.
He has done various certifications on edX and Coursera platforms from world’s top organizations including Harvard Business School & MIT Sloan School of Management.

Research & Publication Contribution:

Four Ph.D. degrees have been awarded under his supervision and co-supervision.
He edited professional journals, published in international, national and professional journals, reviewed and edited text books.
His opinions are published by reputed media houses on current issues involving finance /academic acumen.
He acted as reviewer for International Conference organized by IIM Jammu.
